It’s a little unusual for this kind of information to leak out so fast, but aparently the powers-that-be for the new Ghostbusters film aren’t keeping the tightest lid on what’s in their script. In a recent interview according to Ain’t It Cool News, Sigourney Weaver was asked if she might be in the film. She not only says the movie is defnitely happening, and that she could get a cameo, but she revealed that the script has her baby son Oscar growing up to be a Ghostbuster, and that Bill Murray is apparenty a ghost!!!

I’m glad it’s definitely going to happen, and I don’t have any major opinions on this development, other than I’m glad to see the writers are keeping previous continuity in mind. I don’t know what I think of Oscar being a major character, much less a Ghostbuster, but he’s the sort of thing that would have been easy to forget about all together. Can’t wait to hear more!
