George Carlin died of heart failure on June 22nd, 2008.  According to Carlin’s publicist Jeff Abraham, Carlin went to Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica due to chest pains.  He apparently had a history of heart problems.  Later that evening George Carlin, one of the world’s greatest comedians, died.   He wasn’t just funny.  He was a visionary.  He was an entertainer and a social commentator.  In his honor, here are some video clips of Carlin.
