Sometimes, those written in comic books are better off to remain in the pages than to be brought in the big screen. It makes the masterpiece more eternal. I've read The Death of Superman years ago and yes, it was really graphic...and frankly, the resurrected versions of Superman sort of turned me off. I never read another sequel to that.
